Vicmarc variable Speed Lathe Conversions These unit provide up to 150% torque, spindle speeds from 30- 3000 rpm, 240 volt - sufficient power to meet demands of both the Hobbyist through to professional wood turner.

The input voltage is standard 240volts and is inverted to 3 phase using the inverter supplied.

The base unit can be retro- fitted to any lathe

With the complete conversion kit it can be retro-fitted to any lathe.

You get a motor, Fuji mini inverter in a wall mountable steel box and a switch box with a
strong magnet on the back to allow you to place the switch where you want.

Available in four motor sizes to suit, from .55kw, .75kw, 1.5kw motors or 2.2kw.
Please note motors have to be 3 phase.

Pulleys are not supplied as you can use existing pulleys on your lathe.

The Small Universal 3 point Steady can be used on lathes with a bed to spindle centre height measurement ranging from 150mm to 205mm. Lathes with a centre height of 150mm can hold parts ranging in size from 30mm - 120mm in diameter. Lathes with a centre height of 180mm to 205mm can hold parts ranging in size from 30mm - 150mm in diameter.

The Large Universal 3 point Steady can be used on lathes with a bed to spindle centre height measurement ranging from 175mm to 305mm. Lathes with a centre height of 175mm can hold parts ranging in size from 30mm - 190mm in diameter.  Lathes with a centre height of 200mm can hold parts ranging in size from 30mm - 240mm in diameter. Lathes with a centre height of 240mm to 305mm can hold parts ranging in size from 30mm - 300mm in diameter.

The Vicmarc-dns Gauge Master was specially designed for wood turners to save time and money. This device incorporates angle checking and centre finding. This product is manufactured in Australia from injection moulded aluminium for durability. It also includes symbols as a guide for sharpening angles of various tools. The Gauge Master is clearly marked and easy to read

Welded Tool Rest

All tool rest are made with a round 4140 high tensile steel bar which is welded onto the top. This makes the Toolrest more durable and also enables you to run your finger under the round bar for accurate cuts.
